CARRARA MARBLE COLLARED BOWL

Carrara Marble. Oh joy. There is something special about Carrara Marble. I have been to the quarry and that's a really special place, that's definitely something ticked off the bucket list. This piece was made spontaneously from sketches after looking at lost of ancient sculptures. Inspiration came from Cycladic sculptures, African pots and bowls and Fijian Kava bowls, among other influences.
