Hacha sculpture, cast resin and stone dust

I made the original sculpture using Cumbrian slate (shown for your information in the gallery images on the stone plinth on the Afghan rug) for a client and then made a rubber mould from this, and then had a handful of really nice resin versions made. One (also pictured) features Bronze powder in the resin, this one is green resin (the original was ‘green stone’) this has a threaded dowel in the back for wall mounting. The original resides in the Robert and Lisa Sainsbury collection in Norwich, which is a fantastic gallery for us locals.
